As a classmate of WA74, I would like to express my condolences to the immediate family. Will always remember Laura’s spunk and humor during our high school days.
Our earthly life we surely do take for granted and we need to appreciate every day we have here to share with family and friends. Rest in peace Laura…✝️

Laura Palermo Topolosky, 66, formerly of West Pittston and Duryea, passed away May 3, 2022 at River Run Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Kingston.

Born April 17, 1956 in Taylor, Pa, Laura was the daughter of the late Angelo and Grace Orlando Palermo. She was also predeceased by her husband William Topolosky.

Laura was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School and held various positions with the federal government, notably with Tobyhanna Army Depot and Wilkes-Barre Veteran's Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Pittston.

Laura was known for her great sense of humor and for her infectious laugh. She would often entertain family and friends with funny stories. For many years she dedicated herself to her love of chihuahuas by raising and breeding them.

She is survived by her son Michael, Old Forge; sister Lynne Filipini and her husband Armand, Duryea; brother Michael and his wife Mary, New Berlin; grandchildren Hailee, Samantha, and Jesse and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 7th, 2022 at 11a.m at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston with the Pastor J.R. Rodriguez Officiating.  Family and Friends may call from 10a.m. until the time of Service at 11a.m.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the Family.
