Patricia Ann Schillaci

Patricia Ann Schillaci, 66, of Exeter, Passed away Saturday June 5th, 2021 unexpectedly at home.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Marino and Eleanor Pepe Schillaci. Patty attended Exeter High School graduating from Wyoming Area High School in 1972. After High School she attended Wilkes University where she received her Masters in Education, and also received two Bachelors degrees, one in Science, mathematics and the other in Spanish.

Patty was a teacher for many years at Pittston Area High School. She loved her students and they made her so proud.

All who knew Patty knew that she was the care taker. She took care of her mother and three Aunts up to their passing, driving them to doctors appointments, lunch, dinner and anything else that she had to do. Patty also took care of all of her friends, cooking for people and taking them to their appointments, sitting in the hospital with them. She loved everyone and would do anything for them.

She was a member of St. Barbara's Parish in Exeter.

Patty was preceded in death by her Uncles and Aunts, Al and Helen Acierno, Andrew and Carmella Dellarte, Joseph and Bertha Bianco.

She is survived by cousins who were so dear to her, Al and Terry Bianco, Tracy and Brain Logue, Terry Ann and Gene Eady, Joseph and Stephanie Bianco, Brian Logue Jr., Jamie Bowman, Maegan Logue, Erin Benson, Nicholas Logue, T.J. Leon, Matthew Logue, Gianna Logue, Bella Bianco, Grace Leon, Maddison Leon, Olivia Bianco, and also Holden, Maverick and Addyson and many many friends.

Funeral will be held Thursday June 10, 2021 at 9:30 A.M. from the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., at 509 Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M.. in St. Barbara's Parish on Memorial Street in Exeter with Father Paul McDonnell Officiating. Interment will be private in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4p.m. until 8p.m.
