I was Bob’s neighbor across the street. He was a very nice man and great neighbor. Sometimes we would chat if we were outside. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Robert "Bob" James Kukla Jr. of Wyoming passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., the son of the late Robert Kukla Sr. and Betty Jurysta Burrowes.

Bob was a driver-owner/operator with Calex Trucking Logistics, Yatesville, since 2010.

He was a Free & Accepted Mason. He had a great love and respect of sports, which he shared with his children. In his free time, he studied health and nutrition and read about ways to improve himself and the world.

Bob is survived by his aforementioned children and their mother; sisters, Josephine Kukla and Danielle Kukla Lautermilch; his stepparents, Kathleen Kukla and Kenneth Burrowes Jr.; uncles, Thomas Kukla Sr. and Andrew Panzariello; aunts, Margaret Kukla Dito; and Patricia Kukla; and many crazy and fun-loving cousins.

A blessing service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, with the Rev. James Alco officiating. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time.
